The last year has been one of great excitement, possibility and reflection. I've been taking my work (writing, teaching, editing and otherwise) in new and evolving directions, all while learning to parent a toddler—I'd finally gotten babies down, and then she turned two.
This is to say that I've been conspicuously absent from The Common Place because I've been putting in the hard work and long hours in many other facets of life. I'm looking forward to getting back to sharing the words that matter to me, in hopes that they'll matter to you.
I'm making some big changes that I'll be excited to share here and elsewhere over the coming months. At the heart of it, though, things remain the same: a commitment to developing the lives and hearts and works of writers.
Stay tuned, reach out, and keep writing.
All good things,
A.
